I currently run 14's on mine with a 4.7 ratio pinion gear and the rpm difference between fourth and fifth is all of 200rpm, unless you ran tyres with a large sidewall I could see 13's making day to day driving a bit of a pain!
Saying that I'm not sure if my gearbox was played with before I owned it, it's always seemed very short even when the stock diff setup was on it.
