Brake pads, where to buy them?

Postby Bagpuss » Sun Dec 21, 2014 7:45 pm

As the title says really, where do you guys buy your brake pads from? My brakes have started howling whenever I use them, regardless of pressure applied, so I figure it's time to refresh the pads! An easy enough job providing I can actually find some replacement pads to put in  So far I've only found pads on ebay that are suspiciously cheap (possibly fake) so they're not really ideal.

Got mine through Kevin on here (KAM RACING) - mintex 1144's.. but be warned, they dont fit. you need to guide the "ears" on the pads for them to fit better. Really good pads but mega dusty!

Yeah I did see them on that site, I just can't really afford £166 for a set of brake pads at the moment  I made the mistake of getting a mortgage!

Just put standard pads in the rear.

I use standard pads in the rear of mine and I use it for motorsport without issue.

Yeah I ended up getting some ultimax pads (OEM copies) direct from EBC for about £65, not bad at all!
